Who am I
How I Can Help I've been a driving instructor in Nottingham/Mansfield area since 2000. On my last standards check I achieved grade A (the highest grade available). I've had years of experience teaching in numerous institutions.I have an ADI badge to teach learners and a Fleet badge to go in to companies to assess their staff to make sure they are as safe as possible while driving company cars. I’ve worked with students of all ages in order to help them discover their full learning potential.
I’ve always loved helping others and enjoy making concepts and ideas accessible to everyone. Through my unique and personalized approach, my students develop organized study habits and effective learning strategies that can be applied to a wide range of areas. Had a great time learning with Paul. Took me all the way from complete beginner to here. Every lesson was really informative and he covers all bases well. Pushes you to make sure you get everything right and has the patience to wait for you to get there. Amazing instructor.

What areas do you cover and what are your working hours?I cover all of Nottinghamshire, including Nottingham, Mansfield, Sutton, and Kirkby in Ashfield. My working hours are flexible to accommodate your schedule. Please contact me to discuss your specific needs.

What cars are used for driving lessons?For manual lessons, you will be learning in a 2025 VW Golf R-Line, which is easy to drive and suitable for all heights. For automatic lessons, you will be learning in a 2021 VW ID3, a fully electric car that is spacious and user-friendly.

Are all driving lessons one-to-one?Yes, all driving lessons are one-to-one tuition. No one else will be present during your lessons except on the test day. Company fleet assessments can be conducted in pairs if requested.

Which test centres do you cover?I cover the following test centres: Ashfield, Colwick, Watnall, and Chilwell. I do not cover Worksop or Derby.

What are your lesson rates and payment options?Manual Lessons: £38 per hour, £185 for 5-hour blocks, £360 for 10-hour blocks, £700 for 20-hour blocks. Test day: £95.00 / £114.00 depending on the test centre. Refresher and motorway lessons: £40 per hour. Pass Plus: £240 (paid in advance). Payments can be made in cash, via bank transfer before the lesson, or by credit/debit card through PayPal (use the personal option to avoid charges). Special offers and discounts may be available; please inquire at the time of booking. A minimum 7-day cancellation period applies.
